For more than a decade, we have been working with primary schools and municipalities across Slovenia to ensure safe routes to school. Traffic safety in school districts is a key challenge, which is all too often systematically solved with safe route plans for schools, which then lie forgotten in a drawer. As part of the project to digitize safe routes to school, we have created a digital plan of safe routes in the school district for more than 120 Slovenian primary schools in the last decade. 

The digitized school route plan includes a digital map of the school district, with safe routes, danger points, warning signs and school bus schedules. Digitized school route plans enable students to safely familiarize themselves with the traffic regulations of the school district, and ensure the use of proven safe school routes.
